Tofu Chocolate Mousse

I love baking, but when it comes to hosting, dessert is the last thing on my mind. This tofu chocolate mousse is my favorite dessert to whip up for guests. Believe me when I say it’s unbelievably quick, easy, and incredibly delicious! I top it with a drizzle of olive oil, some fresh cherries, a sprinkle of pistachios, and flaky salt. To add extra elegance and fun, serve it in chic cocktail glasses – it’s a guaranteed hit!

Tofu Mousse

  • 1 container 1 silken tofu (300g)

  • 88 g 88 good quality semi sweet chocolate

  • 2 tbsp 2 honey

  • pinch of salt

  • Toppings
  • olive oil

  • cherries

  • pistachios

  • flaky salt


  • Take tofu out of fridge to bring to room temperature while you melt the chocolate.
  • Melt the chocolate in a double boiler. Bring a small pot of water to a simmer, then place a heatproof bowl on top of the pot. It should fit snugly on top but not touch the simmering water. Add the chocolate and melt it, mixing constantly. Remove from heat.
  • To a blender, add the tofu, melted chocolate, honey and a pinch of salt. Blend until smooth.
  • Transfer the mousse evenly among your three serving dishes. I like to put them in cocktail glasses, but you could use small ramekins as well.
  • Chill in the fridge for at least 1 hour. When ready to serve, remove from the fridge and add your toppings. I recommend a small drizzle of olive oil, a few pitted cherries, and a sprinkle of chopped pistachios and flaky salt!
